Key features of this gorgeous vintage basket
A gorgeous vintage woven off white and yellow shopping basket with one yellow stripe round the basket. dating from the 1950's to 1970's. These woven baskets were very popular between the 1950's to the 1970's and women often made them at evening classes. My grandmother made many of these.
This very pretty vintage basket is in excellent condition for it age, with nice strong clean handles and is a very rare colour. The second photo is a better representation of the shade of the baskets colours.
